Design Tips PDF Print E-mail

 

To insure a successful outcome for your printed file we need the all files sent to us prepared with these minimum attributes. Please design your files on our templates to ensure proper bleed.

 

Resolution:

All file formats must have a minimum of 350 dpi (dot per inch) resolution at 100% of the final print size. 

Images designed for the web typically cannot be used for printing as they have a low screen resolution of 72 dpi. Print images need to be created at 350 dpi or there will be a substantial drop in the image quality. 

3.5"x 2" Business Card resolution: 350 dpi

4"x 6" Postcard resolution: 350 dpi

4” x11” Door Hanger    350 dpi

 

Color Mode:

All color artwork and/or images must be provided in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) color mode. 

All black & white artwork and/or images must be provided in grayscale color mode.

 

Bleed:

For business cards and postcards, please build your print-ready digital files by adding 0.25" bleed to each dimension 

3.5"x 2" business cards with bleed is 3.75"x 2.5" 

4"x 6" postcards with bleed is 4.50"x 6.60" 

4"x 11" postcards with bleed is 4.50"x 11.50"
